This statue features a mature hand painted face, exquisite filigree detail on vestments (20”), and golden halo. St. Patrick holds the book of his missionary life and conversion and his bishop’s crosier in one hand (20”) and a shamrock by which he taught about the Trinity in the other. Shades of green from all parts of Ireland abound on St. Patrick’s vestments.
